Save my Chalkboard, Save the World...?

I was serious the other day when I mentioned that I would love to have some suggestions for your favorite mantras to add to my chalkboard. Right now, it looks like this:

Some other iterations have been:

As you can see, I tend toward season-themed messages, but that's only because I am not the most creative person in the whole world.

What are some of your favorite quotes?
Inspirational mantras?
Superhero special powers?

  1. Welcome to my world!

“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.” -Scott Adams

    Go Go Gadget Arms!

    Simple is Beautiful!

    Only boring people are bored.

Today, put on your AWESOME pants!

  2. "I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys R Us kid." "Stuck on Me" "M'm M'm Good." "You Deserve a break today." "I'm under 30 and I've never heard of these." "Double your pleasure, double your fun."

  3. These are from Woody Paige's quote board during around the horn.

"If you don’t believe in love at first sight, should I walk by again?"

"Do something Either lead, follow, or don’t participate"

    "Everybody is somebody else’s weirdo"

    "You had me at bacon"

"I can’t hear you over the sound of how epic I am."

    "Legen -
    (wait for it)
    Dary!" NPH

"Never look back unless you’re planning to go that way"

"To err is human, to arr is pirate"

I do not have any of my own to share.

  4. My two favorite quotes of all time are these:

"Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society." -Mark Twain

"Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else." -Judy Garland

OR! You could have a special birthday tribute to me on your quote board, since the world will be celebrating yet another year with me around this Thursday. Do it. Dooooo iiiiit!

  5. "Be the change you wish to see in the world" -Gandhi
"I don't want to dance too hard, but this is a groove." -Prince
    "Vision over visibiity." -Bono

I'm a quote whore, some might say. :) Is that inappropriate??

  6. How about "it's possible...pig...I might be bluffing!" which doesn't fit into any conversation anywhere and yet I still manage to use it frequently! It only works, though, if you're sure enough people have seen that awesome movie.
