Working out on a regular basis has been a good excuse to listen to my music collection, which is eclectic at best. I just want to add that I have a ton more energy since workoutout—woohoo! Last night's workout churned out such classics as "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Shake Ya Tailfeather," but an unexpected song for a workout reminded me that my husband and I are M.F.E.O.
Made For Each Other.
I have the Sleepless in Seattle soundtrack and my thought-provoking song was "Stand By Your Man" by Tammy Wynette. In the song, she says, "Stand by your man, and tell the world you love him."
And I do love my man! I mean, just look at him:
After Jacko decided he wanted to be Captain Hook for Halloween this year, he assigned everyone else a costume. Caleb looked dreamy as Mr. Smee, Lucy was sweet in her Wendy costume, and I tried to rock a pink sweatsuit as best I could. We had a successful Halloween, filled with a visit to Caleb's work and trick-or-treating with Eden & Britain, my nieces. Jacko kept his hook and hat on all night—dude stayed in character, natch!
I am grateful for my man, and I'll stand by him even if he decides to become a career pirate.
