Driving in the Sun

Christmas, being magical is it always is, brought more than a fun morning with a present-opening baby and a slew of giftcards for this fashion-flimsy girl; Caleb surprised me with a week-long trip into the warmer weather of southern California. We left the morning of the 26th and planned on returning to Utah on the 2nd of January (2010!). And thanks to all of the Chatfield clan in Redlands, we had a lovely time and a good story to tell when we returned.

The story, however, is going to be of the picture-book kind. Look at this California sun.
